Fixtures

  • Any club angler fishing in a “small boat” should place personnal safety at the top of their agenda.
  • Life Preservers or buoyancy aids must be worn.
  • Sea state and weather should be a consideration when matched against experience and safety.
  • There must be a minimum of two onboard
  • All boats should be sea worthy and carry all necessary safety related equipment including communication devices.
  • A third part or none fishing contact should be informed of any small boat angling trip stating time of departure, place of departure, names of those on board, a contact number and time of expected return.
  • Any fish caught and considered for inclusion in either match or award schemes should be weighed and photographed and details sent to Les Bradbeer the Small Boat Secretary as well as Scott Cooper the club Fish Recorder.

Notes: Boat matches are all fished 08:00 to 16:00 hrs unless a change is notified. Shore matches are fished 18:00 to 23:59 hrs, except March at Stolford which is 16:30 hrs to 20:30 hrs and the all night match in July which commences at 17:00 hrs and finishes at 08:00 hrs. Any Club Match may be cancelled, curtailed or altered by the relevant secretary, when required due to weather, safety or other third party influence.
