The weather gods were kind to us , but despite this it was a challenging days fishing with small tides and the dreaded may water present. Both boats spent most of the first half of the day drifting over the rough ground catching a variety of fish. Despite the conditions a total of 11 species of fish were caught. This included Bull Huss, Conger, Dogfish, Mackerel, Pollock, Pout, Poor Cod, Whiting, Ballan Wrasse, Cuckoo Wrasse, Goldsinney Wrasse. Top angler on the day was Roy Shipway with 560pts 2nd was Clive Baddick 460pts. The highlight of the day was a very large pod of Bottlenose Dolphins possibly between 50-100 animals.
